Really enjoyed this story. You could feel the joy and the pain.
Sad but entertaining and even funny @ times. It takes a twist near the end that made it more interesting.

I. Did. Not. Want. This. Book. To. End. I tried every delay tactic I could come up with, they didn't work, it ended. Can't wait to read more from Shari Low. I always enjoy her books!
I'm not sure I believe that a friend wouldn't have noticed how selfish a "best friend" could be, but???? It is interesting to think about what things people might find out about us after we die. Secrets just don't stay secrets. The story does keep you going and wanting to see where things go.
This was just a wonderful surprise. I had trouble putting it down and looked forward to each time I could settle in and read. Sad, funny, clever and not quite what I expected, it was a look at grief, life choices, and healing. Very good read.
How the sudden death of a loved one can cause not only immense grief but many unexpected chain of events is well demonstrated in this book. Dee’s demise brought out among her loved ones facets that would normally have not surfaced. Their strengths, their love, and loyalty were put to the test. To be able to cope or not is really up to the person. It is very true how one can appear calm and collected, but actually so torn up inside.
Shari Low again demonstrated her skillful writing that had me wanting to neglect everything and just curl up and finish the book; but that luxury wasn’t there. The tugs in my heart, the near tears, the happiness shared towards the end; they were all worth all the reading distractions called real life.
